Edible Garden created for First Lady Michelle ObamaNBC Today Show asked if I could grow a garden in a 1952 “B” Series Chevrolet Pickup Truck to honor Michelle Obama’s public health campaign “Let’s Move!” The result was the “GARDENONTHEGO.”The truck was used to film NBC and Food Network segments in New York and The White House, Washington, DC.
Honored to take photo with First Lady Michelle Obama and the NBC crew. I was honored to spend time with The First lady, Al Roker and the NBC producers and crew on the day she closed the garden at the White House.
The Idea and SketchI thought I would use whiskey barrels for containers because anyone can grow a garden in a barrel regardless of where they live. It’s an easy and inexpensive.
